Shippers who prepare
dangerous goods shipments for ground air, and ocean transit using the
49CFR, IATA and IMDG
regulations, and who have had 49CFR and IMDG training within the previous
3 years and IATA training within the previous 24 months. Topics covered include
a review of the 3-Day initial classes for 49CFR,IATA, and IMDG with an emphasis on updates
and changes.

This 5-day multi modal seminar
is designed for those who transport dangerous cargos by air, US highway and
vessel. The regulations used; IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, US 49CFR and the
IMDG, each have their own unique rules that must be followed. Using practical
examples and exercises the student will learn the regulations and how they work
together to get freight moved safely. A final exam is given after each mode.
Tuition includes: current edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, current edition
of the 49 CFR regulations (Parts 100-185), copy of the IMDG Code, classroom
workbooks, and daily lunch. (Hotel room not included in seminar tuition.)

instruction is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.

literature, regulatory manuals and workbooks weighing approximately 27 pounds,
which you will need to take home with you after the meeting. Remember to leave
some room in your luggage or bring an extra bag.
