IMDG Training is required for any hazmat employee who needs to understand how to use the IMDG Code. This includes: Shipping personnel who prepare and sign the shipping papers for ocean transport, Personnel responsible for classifying hazardous product, Anyone else who meets the definition of a "hazmat employee" and who needs to understand how to read and interpret the IMDG Code.

The 1-Day Recurrent course is for Shippers who prepare dangerous goods shipments for ocean transit using the IMDG regulations, and who have had previous IMDG training within the previous 3 years. Topics covered include a review of the the 2-Day initial class with an emphasis on updates and changes. Recurrent training is required every 3 years for IMDG. Recurrent students, please take the IMDG pretest.
