This course covers:
- DGI's Materials of Trade program is a short course in complying with the US DOT regulations which are exceptions to the normal HazMat/DG rules for transportation by ground, by a person or business where the primary activity is not transportation for hire. For example, a landscaping company needs to transport gasoline for their equipment, or a plumbing service vehicle is equipped with corrosive cleaners, or flammable liquids.

- Regulations
Current editions of the 49CFR is recommended but not required. Students must provide their own copies, as they are not included with the course. Copies are available from our recommended suppliers.

- Function Specific Training - Ultimately (in the United States) your employer has final responsibility for determining if a hazmat employee is properly trained for their particular job function. Since there is a potential for limitless types of job functions as determined by an individual employer, we as your training provider can only suggest what types of additional training might be required.
