Who should take this course? People who have current IATA certification from a shipper or forwarders perspective, and wish to learn the additional responsibilities of an airline operator who accepts Dangerous Goods. Suitable for ground-handling personnel and airline acceptance, loading and handling staff.
This training provides additional training for people already certified under the following IATA functions: Shipper and/or Forwarder
Acceptance is for airline employees and their ground handlers who need full DG cargo acceptance training.

Current edition of the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations is required for this course. Students must provide their own copies, as they are not included with the course. You can purchase regulations from our recommended suppliers .

- Certificate awarded for this course will be for function-specific training and must be used in conjunction with previous IATA Acceptance training that includes DOT Safety and Security Training.
Function Specific Training - Ultimately (in the United States) your employer has final responsibility for determining if a hazmat employee is properly trained for their particular job function.
