Who should take this course? Individuals who need to ship only samples of fuel including Jet fuel, Gasoline, Kerosene, Gas/Alcohol mixtures and Petroleum Distillates by air only. This program is designed to provide IATA dangerous goods training, specifically focused on the shipping of petroleum based fuel samples.
This course may be taken by those needing Initial or Recurrent training.

The course covers limited quantity exceptions as well as full UN packaging for passenger or cargo only aircraft.

- Regulations
Current edition of the IATA regulations is recommended but not required. Students must provide their own copies, as they are not included with the course. Copies are available from our recommended suppliers .

Time Required:
- Estimated completion time: 6-8 hours.
- You have 3 months from the date of payment to complete the course.
- A one-time extension may be purchased if additional time is needed.
Additional Required Training
Depending on your job functions, additional training may be required:
- Function Specific Training - If you ship any product other than fuel samples you will need additional function specific training. Ultimately (in the United States) your employer has final responsibility for determining if a hazmat employee is properly trained for their particular job function. Since there is a potential for limitless types of job functions as determined by an individual employer, we as your training provider can only suggest what types of additional training might be required.
- Each employer may have additional training responsibilities to fulfill (i.e. OSHA HAZCOM and OSHA HAZWOPER training).
