Kristin Webb
Kristin is DGI's newest instructor and she comes to DGI with a unique experience of her own in the supply chain of the transport of dangerous goods to, from, and within Antarctica in support of science and research. Kristin's knack for adventure and seeking new opportunities led her to shift gears from her career as a clinical Registered Dietitian at the VA hospital to working contract jobs in Antarctica, where she ultimately gained ten years of warehousing and shipping experience and six years of hands-on packaging/preparing, instructing/training, and acting as the subject matter expert for the safe transport of dangerous goods for the US Antarctic Program.
Kristin lives in Michigan with her husband, her ever-so-busy and curious toddler son, and fur-baby cat. She has traveled to all seven continents, spent summers on a dairy farm learning how to make cheese, lived on a commune, and continues to make it a point in her life to continue to seek unconventional experiences and looks forward to continuing her career in the world of dangerous goods with DGI.
