IMDG Ocean Shipping

With DGI's IMDG ocean shipping training, you will learn how to safely transport hazardous materials by vessel. 

IMDG Training is required for any hazmat employee who needs to understand how to use the IMDG Code. This includes: Shipping personnel who prepare and sign the shipping papers for ocean transport, Personnel responsible for classifying hazardous product, Anyone else who meets the definition of a "hazmat employee" and who needs to understand how to read and interpret the IMDG Code.

Initial Training is required within 90 days of hire or a change in job function(s).
Recurrent Training is required every 3 years for IMDG.

DGI's IMDG training Fulfills US DOT and International Law Training Requirements.

Please note if you ship Lithium BatteriesRadioactive Materials or Explosives additional training is recommended.
Additionally Airline Operator or Ground Handling staff may require additional training based on job function.
