49CFR - Ground Shipping
49CFR Training is required for shippers who prepare dangerous goods shipments for highway transit in the United States.
49CFR Training is required for any hazmat employee who needs to understand how to use the 49CFR Regulations. This includes: Shipping personnel who prepare and sign the shipping papers for ground transport, Personnel responsible for classifying hazardous product, and anyone else who meets the definition of a "hazmat employee" and who needs to understand how to read and interpret the 49CFR Regulations.
Initial Training is required within 90 days of hire or a change in job function(s).
Recurrent Training is required every 3 years for 49 CFR.
DGI's 49CFR training Fulfills US DOT and International Law Training Requirements.
Please note if you ship Lithium Batteries, Radioactive Materials or Explosives additional training is recommended.
