IATA-IMDG - Air-Ocean Shipping
IATA and IMDG Training is required for shippers who prepare dangerous goods shipments for air and ocean transit. DGI's IATA/IMDG combination class is a great way to get certified for air and ocean transport at one time.
IATA/IMDG Training is required for any hazmat employee who needs to understand how to use the IATA DGR and IMDG Code. This includes: Shipping personnel who prepare and sign the shipping papers for transport, Personnel responsible for classifying hazardous product, Anyone else who meets the definition of a "hazmat employee" and who needs to understand how to read and interpret the IATA DGR and IMDG Code.
Initial Training is required within 90 days of hire or a change in job function(s).
Recurrent Training is required every 3 years for IMDG and every 24 months for IATA
DGI's IATA/IMDG training Fulfills US DOT and International Law Training Requirements.
Please note if you ship Lithium Batteries, Radioactive Materials or Explosives additional training is recommended.
